00094thumbnailIn this new series (which features the return of Connie’s dad), we learn that life–and good taste in haberdashery–really do begin at sixty-eight.

Some might argue what Lonnie’s up to here shows vim, vigor, and the importance of the entrepreneurial spirit. None of the people arguing that would be members of the local vice squad.

In some ways, I think this cycle is less about Lonnie and more about Connie. Sure, Lonnie’s her dad, but that’s not going to stand in the way of Connie’s unfaltering pragmatism (which, as we’ll see here, can be backed by a credible threat of violence).
